Hi, I’m Eric. I chose the path of psychotherapy after realizing that logical understanding of our stuck points can only take us so far. The professional training and experience I have pursued since then focuses on helping others experience new ways of relating to themselves and their closest loved ones. I know what it feels like to fall into the same patterns despite “getting” them, and work closely with clients to build curiosity and compassion for the parts of themselves responsible for these actions.

From insight to real change.

Eric’s Personal Journey of Care

You may find yourself feeling disconnected, more irritable than you used to be, overwhelmed by the constant demands of parenthood, or wondering why becoming a dad has brought up emotions you weren't expecting. Are you carrying the pressure of trying to be a present partner and parent while quietly feeling like you've lost touch with yourself, or noticing your own childhood experiences showing up in moments with your children?

Many dads come to therapy because something feels different.

I believe that true change happens when we are honest with ourselves and those we trust about the struggles that burden us, even if on the outside things look fine.

Therapy offers a space to understand what's happening beneath the surface, heal the patterns that no longer serve you, and become more grounded, connected, and fully yourself in your relationships and your parenting.

My work focuses on supporting parents, and dads specifically, because parenting can stretch us in ways that leave even our strongest coping strategies feeling out of reach.

Unlocking a pathway for deeper understanding, healing, and lasting change.

My lived experience as a professional, a dad, and a husband informs my relatable, welcoming approach to supporting others ready and willing to grow - not only for themselves, but for those they love most.

Together, we encounter the overlooked child perhaps you once were, or the teenager or young adult who was labelled, not heard. These parts of ourselves journey with us into adulthood and parenthood - I help clients connect with these parts so they feel more integrated and less alone.

I help clients not only explore root causes of patterns and behaviors, but also use approaches that honour your whole story.

I have had countless experiences with clients who find my welcoming approach refreshing, inviting, and helpful for exploring topics they might otherwise hold to themselves. That’s the difference I bring to my work.

I believe in helping clients have a new and good experience with their emotions because lasting change cannot happen within the old paradigm.

"This was better than I expected” is a common phrase in my office.

What is different about working with Eric?

A sigh of relief often accompanies our conversations, as clients realize there is space here for them to be honest and open about their inner worlds - worlds that are usually walled off from the outside world.
